Tree House is a single-family home with a guest cottage in an enclosed enclave on a quiet street which provides a tremendous amount of privacy. The Annex cottage consists of one queen-size bedroom with bath and a sitting room with a view of the harbor on the second floor and a beautiful airy dining room, and full kitchen and bathroom on the first floor. Below the house is a full laundry and storage room. The Main Historic house is a three-storied building which consists of two twin-sized bedrooms with a shared bath on the ground level (under the verandah), a galley-style kitchen, queen-sized bedroom with adjoining bathroom, dining room, living room and covered verandah on the first floor, one twin-sized bedroom and bath are located on the second floor and a small alcove overlooking the verandah. Tree House is one of the most charming properties on Harbour Island. This compound has two clapboard houses with on quiet Hill Street, which ends with the famous steps leading down to Bay Street. Aptly named, Tree House sits high above the treetops. Its hillside position is ideal and offers cooling breezes, views to the harbor and spectacular sunsets. Tree House entrance leads to a courtyard down to a classic Bahamian Historic Cottage on the Right, and the newer annex cottage on the left. A huge old-fashioned porch, which overlooks the large pretty garden and out to the harbor, is the focal point of the main house. This is a very private compound yet it’s still part of the village.
